The stage is set for the 66th running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Advance Auto Parts, March 14-17. America’s oldest sports car endurance race will attract a record entry of manufacturers and one of the most exciting driver lineups ever to tackle the famed 3.74-mile circuit that originated from a WWII B-17 combat crew training base.
A grid of 43 cars representing three different classes will be on the starting line when the green flag is waved at 10:40 am on Saturday, March 17th. Sebring is the second round of the prestigious IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Tickets and reserved trackside parking are still available, but very limited. Call 800.626.7223 for details.
The Prototype class will feature four Daytona Prototype International (DPi) manufacturers: Cadillac, Nissan, Mazda and the new Team Penske Acura entry with an all star drive lineup that includes Juan Pablo Montoya, Helio Castroneves, Graham Rahal and Ricky Taylor. The Mazda program will be managed by Joest Racing in 2018, the same team that orchestrated 10 Sebring wins for Audi.
