The 2018 Indianapolis 500 (branded as the 102nd Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil[4] for sponsorship reasons) is a Verizon IndyCar Series event that is scheduled for Sunday, May 27, 2018, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana.[5] The event is scheduled for 500 miles (200 laps). It will be the premier event of the 2018 IndyCar Series. Takuma Sato is the winner of the latest editionof the race.
