The main church in the providence of Cartago, Costa Rica dedicated to the Apostal Satiago, patron of Spain in 1575. Reconstructed serveral times during the colonial era, was destroyed by the earthquake of San Antolin in September, 1941. The construction in stone was initiated a few years after and before it was completed, was completely destroyed by the earthquake of Santa Monica in 1910.
